$500 for one on one class, $450 for each additional person.

In this Class you will learn the basics of blade forging from start to finish (no experience needed).

The Basic Knife Class is two days. The first day is about 3-4 hours and the second day is about 4-5 hours. We can allow for some additional time or less time depending on what you want to get out of it. Day one we will be forging and heat treating the blades. Day two will be all the finish work; grinding, hand sanding and handle work. Dress code: must wear closed toed leather boots that cover ankles, long pants, and a t-shirt. all clothes must be cotton because synthetic material can melt, jeans are acceptable. each student is required to sign a liability waiver understanding the inherent risks of working in the shop.
